AI Rank Privacy Policy

AI Rank is an iOS app for browsing public AI open-source repository rankings, developers, bots, and daily insight reports.

Accounts and Subscriptions

You can browse free rankings and the latest daily insight, and purchase or restore Pro without creating an AI Rank account. Sign in with Apple is optional. If you choose to sign in, Apple provides an app-specific account identifier and, when you authorize it, your name and email address. The app stores these account details on your device to maintain your sign-in session.

RevenueCat, our subscription service provider, uses an anonymous subscription identifier when you are not signed in. If you choose to sign in, we send your app-specific account identifier to RevenueCat to associate your account with subscription access. RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription records, entitlement status, and related technical information to validate purchases, restore access, provide app functionality, and help us understand subscription performance. An anonymous identifier does not mean purchase records contain no personal data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Apple processes payments. AI Rank does not receive your payment card number. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings without signing in to an AI Rank account. Signing out or deleting your AI Rank account does not cancel an App Store subscription. You can request account deletion in the app's account settings, or contact support about your data if you use the app without an account.

Data We Do Not Collect

The iOS app does not request your contacts, photos, precise location, or advertising identifier.

AI Rank does not use advertising identifiers and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Data Stored On Your Device

AI Rank stores app preferences on your device, including settings such as notification preference, insight language, and saved local app state. These values are used only to run the app experience and are not sold or used for advertising.

Network Requests

To understand and fix subscription problems, the app sends first-party events for onboarding, paywall views, plan loading, sign-in outcomes, purchase attempts and results, and restores. These include a random installation identifier, a hashed app-specific account identifier after sign-in, app version, selected product, timestamps, and predefined error codes. They do not include your name, email, Apple authorization code, receipt, or payment card information. These events are used for product analytics and troubleshooting, not cross-app advertising. Recent event records are available only to administrators and are removed with account deletion. The app temporarily queues failed uploads on your device and clears that queue when account deletion succeeds.

AI Rank requests ranking data, repository metadata, developer information, avatars, README content, and daily insight reports from the AI Rank service and public GitHub resources. These requests are needed to display current open-source ranking content.

Like most internet services, servers that receive network requests may receive technical information such as IP address, request time, URL path, and device/browser networking metadata as part of standard service operation and security. AI Rank does not use this information to build advertising profiles or track users across other apps or websites.

Notifications

AI Rank may request permission to send notifications for new daily insight reports. When push notifications are enabled, the service receives a device push token and notification preferences to deliver them. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings or inside the app.

Third-Party Links

AI Rank includes links to GitHub repositories and developer profiles. When you open third-party links, your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies.
