2. Connect models. Open Settings → Model Providers. Global users can sign in with a Z.ai account; users in China are pointed to the BigModel Coding Plan path. You can also paste an API key.

3. Work in the agent workflow. Official capability list centers on the ZCode Agent: long-running Goals, file/terminal/browser/Git context in one task, confirmation before sensitive actions, Remote follow-up, and Feishu / WeChat / Telegram bot control (welcome, product page).

Prices and quotas change; always re-check z.ai / BigModel before buying. What the docs showed at check time:

  • First-time ZCode offer: 5-day free trial with daily token quotas that apply only during those 5 days (not an ongoing daily allowance). Welcome page lists GLM-5.3 3M tokens/day, GLM-5-turbo 2M tokens/day, daily total 5M for that window (welcome).
  • Connect Models (BigModel path): new users connecting a BigModel account get a trial plan with 8 million tokens per day for the first 5 days for GLM trials (configuration). The two pages disagree on the daily figure—cite each page separately; do not invent a single “official” number.

Practical Limits

  • Linux builds were labeled Beta on the download grid at check time.
  • Model lists, credit math, and endpoint rules are account- and region-dependent; follow the in-app provider page after login.
  • Unannounced specs (exact latency, private eval scores, unpublished model ids) are omitted here on purpose.
